National Endowment for Financial Education® or NEFE®;
Theodore (Ted) Beck, MBA, President and CEO; Brent A. Neiser,

NEFE is an independent nonprofit organization committed to
educating Americans about personal finance and empowering them
to make positive, sound decisions to reach their financial
goals. The National Endowment for Financial Education®,
NEFE®, and the NEFE logo are federally registered service
marks of the National Endowment for Financial Education. For
more information about the National Endowment for Financial
Education, visit www.nefe.org.
The LEAGUE Powered by Learning to Give is a system
for schools and students to engage in a series of service
events in
the community. The LEAGUE offers innovative teaching resources
provided by Learning to Give for educators to teach the
concepts of giving and service related to these events.
Since 1997, Learning to Give has defined what to teach
in philanthropy education and how to measure it. This was
accomplished by developing the first framework for teaching
K-12 philanthropy and creating measurable benchmarks for
assessing student knowledge about philanthropy within that
framework. With recognition via The LEAGUE website, local
newspapers, and national media, LEAGUE students and schools
can celebrate and be recognized for their impact.
